The Team

Tracey Elliott MMSM (Dip RM, Stress, Aroma) MGPBT

Tracey worked in HR for many years before becoming disillusioned with corporate life. She completed her initial massage training at the prestigious Midlands School of Massage in Nottingham, and has since supplemented her training at many other excellent institutions throughout the country. Her holistic passions are medical massage for the treatment of pain, (using a variety of remedial massage techniques including myofascial release, trigger point therapy and advanced stretching) and stress management. Tracey shares her life with Richard, Sticky and Lump, two of whom are cats.

Siobhan Kelly

Since qualifying from Clarendon College, Siobhan has worked in a City Centre hotel spa and in several high street salons. Her particular passions are facials, massage and, believe it or not, waxing – not because she enjoys inflicting pain, but because it gives instant results.

Caroline Meadows

Following a strong family tradition, Caroline qualified as a holistic therapist in 2001, after a soul searching trip to East Asia and Australia. Caroline now practices reflexology, massage and aromatherapy, combining therapies to provide a personalised and appropriate treatment. More recently, Caroline has specialised in pregnancy massage, which she loves.

Ruth Taylor

Ruth qualified as a Reflexologist in 2000, having studied at the excellent School of Precision Reflexology in Devon. Having taken a break to raise her family, Ruth has returned to practice refreshed and with renewed vigour. Ruth has also recently rediscovered yoga and may decide to teach it in the future – once she can fold herself in half and place her forehead on the floor!

Beverley Jackson

Beverley brings with her a range of skills in her field. Bev currently teaches Holistic Therapies for New College Nottingham, primarily in the community, but also at Clarendon College. She also works on a Sensory Panel at Boots, developing new products for their retail stores. She is married with two nearly grown-up children.

Beverly offers massage, with or without aromatherapy, Gentle Touch Reflexology, Indian Head Massage and Hopi Ear Candles. She is also currently studying facials, manicure and pedicure, and will be expanding her repertoire soon!

Lynne Taylor MMSM, Sports Massage Level 4

Lynne juggles a family life (having 2 young children) and a part time career as a fashion designer with her passion for massage.

As a highly qualified sports massage therapist, Lynne works with sports clubs, at sporting events, within a physiotherapy practise and now at Real Retreat. Combining anatomy knowledge with remedial massage therapy allows Lynne to identify soft tissue and functional conditions, and to provide appropriate and safe treatments utilising deep tissue release, joint mobilisation and stretching, whilst increasing circulation within the tissues to improve healing times. Lynne also gives a heavenly Swedish full body massage, combining soft tissue techniques with pure relaxation to improve emotional and physical wellbeing. We dare you to stay awake!

Tarnia Janisse ITEC, MFHT

Tarnia is a fully qualified, professional massage therapist and a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT). She completed her initial massage training with ITEC in 2002 and has since gone on to complete courses in Aromatherapy, Indian Head Massage, Hopi Ear Candling and the ever-popular Hot Stone Fusion Massage. Tarnia has recently returned to work after having her little boy, Sam. She is also an Usbourne Books Organiser – contact her at Real Retreat if you would like to organise a party at your home or workplace.

Tomatoes

Tomatoes contain high quantities of Lycopene – a proven antioxidant. Our Tomato Summer Cream provides anti-ageing and full spectrum sun protection with an SPF of 16. It also smells surprisingly delicious!
